Introduction:
I am interested in architectural form. In this lecture, I would like to use examples from American architecture to tell the fun of architectural form. Architectural forms have their basic prototype, which is then transformed to suit the needs of particular place and/or time. This process of transformation is the work of design. Additionally, there are also forms that do not take the prototype into consideration like early modern architecture. I hope that through my lecture you will be able to feel the pleasures of architecture.
