PhD in Architecture

The PhD in Urban Planning is a four-year research program that aims to cultivate scholars for positions in universities, research institutes, governmental organizations and planning firms with solid knowledge and in-depth expertise in urban planning. The graduates are competent to keep up with the frontier of theoretical research and engineering practice in urban-related fields, and carry out scientific and interdisciplinary research at home and abroad.

The PhD in Landscape Architecture is a four-year research program focusing
on cultivating talents for future careers as teachers, researchers, policy-makers, planners and designers in and near the field of landscape architecture. It provides a strong foundation for undertaking scientific and interdisciplinary research and equips students with the theoretical and methodological expertise to address important and cutting-edge contemporary issues.
