Recently, Yang Ying, National Engineering Survey and Design Master，Chief Architect of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd., and President of the Engineering Design Institute, was appointed by China State Construction as the Chief Master Architect of China (survey and design).
Yang Ying is the only National Engineering Survey and Design Master in the building industry of Hunan Province, a PhD supervisor, a professor-level senior engineer,
national primary registered architect, APEC registered architect, Chartered Building Engineer, one of the "Top 100 Architects in Modern China","An Expert Entitled to Special Allowance of the State Council" in 2020, "An Outstanding Figure of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of P.R.C.. In the Survey and Design Industry of China" in 2019, Yang has been dedicated to the theoretical and practical exploration of fuzzy architecture with the construction of architectural space situation as the core.
He is engaged in research of modern architectural technologies, and has directed more than 500 architectural engineering designs.

Profile of Yang Ying
1. Yang Ying
Yang Ying, a CQU student of 1983, majoring in Urban Planning. In 2004, he obtained his doctoral degree in Architectural Design and Theory from Chongqing University. Yang currently serves as the Chief Architect of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd., and President of the Engineering Design Institute. He is also a National Engineering Survey and Design Master, one of the "Top 100 Architects in Modern China", and "An Expert Entitled to Special Allowance of the State Council".
Yang has won honorary titles including "Young Architect Award of Architectural Society of China", "Outstanding Survey and Design Worker of Hunan Province", "Model Worker of National Construction System", and "Top 100 Architects of China". On May 24, 2017, his works Suxianling Viewing Platform won the second prize in Group B of Public Facilities of Architecture Award and Honorary Architecture Award issued by Architects Regional Council Asia.
