Research Field: Building Thermal Environment, Urban Physical Environment. His research focuses on the application of passive energy-saving technologies and updating the energy-saving technologies for existing residential buildings in rural areas. Based on the local traditional technologies,he studies the applicability of passive and zero-energy building technologies in rural areas in southwest of China. He is currently in charge of l project funded by National Natural Science Foundation, and l project funded by Chongqing Science &Technology Commission. He has also participated l project funded by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and 5 projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation.He has completed many projects about designing of architecture and building technologies.He has published l copy of printed work and more than 10 papers.
