Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning has ranked among eight most prestigious architecture departments in China. At present, the school’s programs Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture, are among first-class programs in China, key disciplines in China as well as the city of Chongqing.

FAUP includes Department of Architecture, Department of Urban Planning, Department of Landscape Architecture, Department of Building Technology and Institute of Historical Research. Currently, has more than 1000 undergraduates, 751 master degree students, nearly 200 PhD students.The faculty has 202 faculty members, including 168 full-time teachers, 2 foreign teachers, and 34 other technicaland teaching assistants. Among them, 96 have senior professional titles and 87 have doctoral degrees.
