Main research fields: architectural design methodology, urban design, mountainous architecture design and theory, architectural programming and design prophase.

Main achievements: he has accomplished over 20 national or provincial scientific research projects like “Mountainous Area Urban Renovation Critical Control Study”, “Basic Theory Research of Mountainous Architecture Design of China” and so on. He has won 7 awards at kinds of levels include the achievement award of national natural science found project. And, he has punished 9 monographs and more than 30 papers, and been employed as expert in Chongqing Urban Planning Commission and other scholar part-time positions. Moreover, he has won 10 architecture design awards as project leader and main designer, and has guided students to complete innovational projects for many times and won various design competition awards.
