Research fields: mountainous area urban design and architectural design

Academic achievements: He has accomplished more than 170 mountainous area urban and architectural design and research projects and won 29 design awards from the Ministry of Education and other departments. He was in charge of 10 research projects including Mountainous area Urban Centre Renovation Critical Control Study funded by National Natural Science Foundation, “Architectural Education at Doctoral level in the US ” funded by Chinese Scholarship Council, and “Contemporary Architectural Design in Mountainous Area” funded by the doctoral foundation of the Ministry of Education. He has published 18 books including Architectural and Cultural Characteristics of the Mountainous Area in Southwest China and 123 papers .
