Research fields: architectural design methodology, urban design ,architectural theory.

Achievements: he has presided over over 20 research projects and participated in a number of national,provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects.  And, he presided over and participated in architectural design, urban planning and design more than 60, won award in a number of outstanding design in provincial and ministerial level include three excellent planning awards and three excellent architecture design awards. He has published 2 books and more than 50 academic papers. Meanwhile,he is investedd by the Chongqing Municipal Planning Commission and other academic Commission as a both architecture expert and urban design expert. Moreover, he has won teaching achievement award two times awarded by Chongqing University, and has guided students won the prize in many times in various national and international competitions.
