Yichi Zhang is a professor at Chongqing University's School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and an editorial board member forArchitectural HistoriesandLandscape Architecture Frontiersjournals. With extensive academic background, he held a Postdoctoral Fellow role at the University of Oslo (2019-2023) and the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, Yale University (2019). He was also a research fellow at Dumbarton Oaks, Harvard University (2015). He has received recognition as the awardee of the13th Annual Mavis Batey Essay Prize(2017) from the UK's Garden Trust, and the Annual Award for Post-Doctoral Scholars (2017) from the Geographical Society of New South Wales, Australia. His diverse research has led to over 30 published journal articles and book chapters in Chinese, English, and French. His works are featured in esteemed publications likeLandscape Research,Planning Perspectives,Studies in the History of Gardens and Designed Landscapes, andGarden History.
