Vice director of the Architectural History Institute;

Advisor of the World Heritage Institute of Training and Research for the Asia and the Pacific Region (Suzhou) under auspices of UNESCO;

Research fields: architecture history and theory, cultural heritage conservation, regional architecture design.

Academic achievements: as a visiting scholar, she has studied in ICCROM, University of Rome, University of Manitoba, etc.  She has hosted and participated in over 20 researches and projects including 3 funded by the World Bank and 4 by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published over 70 articles and worked as chief editor for 3 books. She has won a couple of awards, including Gold Award of MOHURD (Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Planning of People’s Republic of China), Silver Award of National Construction Project, Excellent Paper for her article in the 46th IFHP (International Federation for Housing and Planning) World Congress.
