Research field: Digital planning, ecological planning, and application of big data in urban planning and hazard mitigation planning.Academic achievements: His research focuses on the application of GIS, remote sensing and big data in urban and regional planning. He aims to further update the methods and technologies in urban planning, enhance the response of urban planning to environmental problems and natural disasters, and improve the resilience and adaptability of urban planning. He has been in charge of 1 project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and 2 projects funded by doctoral program project of the Ministry of Education and Chongqing Natural Science Foundation and many planning projects. He has also participated in 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and 1 international collaboration project. He has published over 30 papers.
