Research fields: community development and urban regeneration, community planning and urban design, urban sociology and urban culture.Academic achievements: She is the member of urban regeneration committee and residential planning committee of Urban Planning Society of China(UPSC). She is the scholar of Penn IUR. She has participated in 4 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and Ministry of Science and Technology, and presided over 2 research projects at provincial level. She has accomplished over 40 planning and design projects, especially in community planning and urban regeneration planning. She has published 2 books, over 40 dissertations and participated in edition of 3 textbooks and She is a main lecturer for the Chongqing University Excellent Course “Urban Design”. She won the 3rd prize of national excellent planning by CACP, the 2nd prize of theory and policy research by Ministry of Civil Affairs, the 1st prize of science and technology progress prize by Ministry of Education, 2nd prize of excellent planning of Chongqing. Her students have won several awards in the Urban Design Competition for National Urban Planning Program.
